Answer:

5.7cm and 2.85cm

Step-by-step explanation:

_perimeter -117/14= 8.3cm

_the unequal side= 8/3= 2.6cm

>8.3-2.6=5.7(one side)

5.7/2=2.85

Final Respuesta ==(5.7 y 2.85) cm

Given : The perimeter of a isosceles triangle is 117/14 . its unequal side measures 8/3 cm.

To find : Measure of equal sides.

Solution :

Perimeter of isosceles triangle  = \frac{117}{14}

Length of unequal side =\frac{8}{3}

Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all the sides = A+B+C

Let be length of equal sides be x.

So the equation will be :

⇒x+x+\frac{8}{3\\} = \frac{117}{14}

Taking LCM on the left hand side.

\frac{3x+3x+8}{3} =\frac{117}{14}

\frac{6x+8}{3} =\frac{117}{14}

On cross multiplying the equation.

⇒14(6x+8) = 117×13

⇒84x+112 = 351

⇒84x = 351-112

⇒84x = 239

⇒x = \frac{239}{84} = 2.84cm

So the measure of each equal side is 2.84cm.
