Let ABC an isosceles ∆ with perimeter 32 cm .

Ratio of equal side to it's base is 3:2 .

Let sides of ∆ be,

AB = BC = 3x

AC = 2x

_________________________

Perimeter of ∆ → 32 cm

AB + BC + AC → 32 cm

3x + 3x + 2x → 32 cm

8x → 32 cm

x \longrightarrow \frac{32}{8}

\boxed{x \longrightarrow 4}

\mathfrak{Length\:of\:smallest\:side \longrightarrow AC \rightarrow 8\:cm}
