The perimeter of a parallelogr is 150 cm. One of its side is twice the other . then find the length of all the sides of a parallelogram

Answer:

let the one side of be x

then, other side will be 2x

perimeter of parallelogram= 150cm

i.e 2(a+b) = 150cm

hence, 2(2x +x )=150 cm

6x =150

x = 150/6

x=25cm

and 2x = 25× 2 = 50cm

Let 1st side be x cm

Therefore,2nd side=2x cm

Perimeter of parallelogram =150cm

So,therefore 2x+x+2x+x=150cm

6x=150cm

x=150/6=25cm

Therefore,1st side=25cm

2nd side=(2×25)cm=50cm
