The perimeter of a parallelogram is 100 cm . If one side is 10 cm longer than the other , find the sides of the parallelogram.

let one side be xc.m.
Therefore other side will be x+10

Perimeter of parallelogram=2(l+b)
100cm = 2(x+10+x)
100cm =2(2x+10)

100cm =2*2x + 2*10
100cm =4x + 20
100-20cm = 4x
80cm=4x
80/4=x
20cm =x

side1=x=20cm
side2=x+10=20+10cm
30cm
