let the 1st side of parallelogram be x
hence the larger side will be x+10
2(x+x+10)=100
2(x+10)=100
x+10=100/2=50
x=50-10=40
hence sides of parallelogram are
40 and 40+10=50

the formula is 2(side +base)
so 2(a+b)
2(10+b)=100
2x10+2xb=100
20+2b=100
2b =100-20
2b=80
b=80/2=40cm this is the one side
the other side is 40+10=50cm
