Given, Longer sides = (x + 10) cm --------------------- (1)

Perimeter of a parallelogram :

2x + 2(x + 10) = 140

2x + 2x + 20 = 140

4x = 120

x = 30 cm.

Substitute x in equation (1), we get

x = 40 cm.

Sides are 30cm and 40cm.

Hope this helps!
