$\longmapsto\tt{Second\:Side(b)=x+10}$

Using Formula :

$\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Perimeter\:of\:Parallelogram=2(a+b)}$

Putting Values :

$\longmapsto\tt{140=2(x+x+10)}$

$\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{140}{2}=2x+10}$

$\longmapsto\tt{70-10=2x}$

$\longmapsto\tt{60=2x}$

$\longmapsto\tt{x=\cancel\dfrac{60}{2}}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{x=30}$

Value of x is 30..

Therefore :

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{First\:Side=30cm}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Second\:Side=10+30}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bold{40cm}$
