  • Perimeter of a parallelogram :

2x + 2(x + 10) = 140

2x + 2x + 20 = 140

4x = 120

x = 30 cm.

  • Substitute x in equation (1), we get;

x = 40 cm.

  • Sides are 30cm and 40cm.

Answer:

perimeter of parallelogram=140cm

let one side be x

other side be 10x

perimeter of parallelogram=2(a+b)

140 =2(x+10x)

140 =2x+20x

140 =22x

140/22 =x

70/11 =x

sides are 70/11

and 700/11

is your answer

hope it helps you
