Perimeter of parallelogram = sum of all the sides
Now parallelogram has 2 equal sides i.e. 2 longer and 2 smaller sides

let smaller side = x
longer side = 25+x

Now,
x + x + 25 + x + 25 + x = 150 cm

4x = 100 cm

x = 25 cm

therefore other sides are 25 + 25 = 50 cm

so sides are 50 cm and 25 cm respectivelly

Hey MATE!

Let the sides of parallelogram be 'a' and 'b'.

We know that opposite side of a parallelogram are equal , therefore the perimeter can be written as :

a + b + a + b = 150

2a + 2b = 150

2(a + b) = 150

a + b = 75 -----------equation 1.

It is given that one side exceeds the other by 25 cm (let us assume that side a > side b).

=> a - b = 25 ---------- equation 2.

equation 1 + 2

a + b = 75
+ a - b = 25
--------------------
2a = 100

a = 100/2 = 25 cm

Therefore side b = 75 - 25 = 50 cm .

Thus, all sides of parallelogram are
25 , 50 ,25 , 50.

Hope it helps
