Let smaller side =x cm, then
Larger side= x+25 cm
Hence perimeter
=2*(smaller side + larger side)
=2*(x+x+25)= 2*(2x+25)
=4x + 50 = 150 (given)
So 4x=100
Or x =25
Therefore
Smaller side = 25 cm and
Larger side =25+25= 50 cm

Solution:-

Given:-

  • Perimeter of parallelogram = 150cm

Let the Smaller side of the parallelogram be "x" cm.

=) Length of Larger side = ( x + 25) cm

Now,

Perimeter of Parallelogram = 150cm

=) 2 ( x + x + 25 ) = 150

=) 2x + 25 = 75

=) 2x = 75 - 25

=) x = 50/2

=) x = 25

Hence,

Smaller Side = x = 25cm

Larger side = ( x + 25) = 50cm

Properties of Parallelogram :-

  • Opposite sides are parallel.
  • Opposite Angle are Congruent.
  • Diagonal bisect each other.
  • Opposite sides are Congruent.
