Let the first side = x

Second side = (x+10)

Perimeter = 2(a + b)

160 \: cm = 2(x + x + 10)

160 = 2(2x + 10)

160 = 4x + 20

160 - 20 = 4x

4x = 140

x = 35 \: cm

First \: Side = x \\  = 35 \: cm

Second \: Side = (x + 10) \\  = (35 + 10) \\  = 45 \: cm
