The perimeter of a parallelogram is 180 cm. If one of the sides is longer than the other by 10 cm.
So ,
1 St side be x
2nd side =x+10
Perimeter =2x+2(x+10)
180 = 2x + 2x + 20
180=4x+20
4x=160
x=160/4
x=40
Hence 1 St side is 40 and other is 50 cm

✯Answer
Smaller side = 40 cm
✯Step by step explanation
Given -:
- Perimeter of a parallelogram = 180 cm
- One of the sides is greater than the other by 10 cm.
To Find -:
- Length of smaller side of parallelogram
Solution -:
Let us assume Smaller side as x cm
Then, Longer side = (x + 10) cm
Smaller side = 40 cm
Larger side = (x + 10) = (40 + 10) = 50 cm
