Perimeter of parallelogram,

2(b+h) = 20cm

Ratio of the adjacent sides = 3:2

Let the sides be x say

Then, the ratio becomes to 3x:2x

As per problem,

  • 2(3x+2x) = 20cm
  • 2(5x) = 20cm
  • 10x = 20cm
  • x = 20cm/10
  • x = 2 cm

therefore, the value of x is 2cm

The adjacent sides,

  • 3x = 3×2cm = 6cm
  • 2x = 2×2cm = 4cm

Therefore, the adjacent sides are 6cm & 4cm
