Answer:

PERIMETER OF PARALLELOGRAM = 2(A+B)

LET , FIRST SIDE = A , AND SECOND = B

 GIVEN :- .one of the side is 5 times the other side

   SO,  A = 5B

PERIMETER OF PARALLELOGRAM = 2(A+B)

==> 240 = 2(A+B)

==> 240 = 2(5B+B)  [BECAUSE A = 5B]

==> 240/2 = 6B

==> 120 = 6B

==> B = 20

SO, A = 5B ==> 5(20) ===> 100

SO, ANSWER = A = 100 , B = 20
