Hey there !!

Given :-

  • Perimeter of parallelogram=120m
  • Area of parallelogram = 280 m²
  • Distance between two opposite sides = 7 m

To Find :-

→ The length of two adjacent sides of the parallelogram [ i.e., length (l) and breadth (b) ]

Solution :-

We have,

  • Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

=> Base × 7 m = 280 m²

=> Base = 280/7 .

•°• Base = 40 m.

°•° Hence, Base = length.

Now,

The perimeter of parallelogram = 2(length+breadth) .

=> 2( 40 + b ) = 120 .

=> 80 + 2b = 120 .

=> 2b = 120 - 80 .

=> 2b = 40 .

=> b = 40/2 .

•°• b = 20 m.

\green{\bf{✔✔}} Hence, two adjacent side of parallelogram is 20m and 40m. ✅✅
