Let one side be x and the other be x+50

In a parallelogram, there are two sets of equal side

ATQ

2( x + x + 50) = 300 \\ 2x + 50 = \frac{300}{2} \\ 2x = 150 - 50 \\ x = \frac{100}{2} \\ x = 50

So, the sides are 50cm and 100cm

Given :-

  • One Of Parallelogram's side is 50 metres more than its adjacent sides.

  • Perimeter = 300m.

To Find :-

  • Sides Of Parallelogram.

Solution :-

Let,

One side be x.

Second Side be x + 50m.

We know that,

Perimeter = 2(l + b).

So, Put the values.

➛2(x + x + 50) = 300.

➛2(2x + 50) = 300.

➛4x + 100 = 300.

➛4x = 300 - 100.

➛4x = 200.

➛x = 200/4.

➛x = 50.

  • One Side = x = 50m.

  • Second Side = x + 50 = 100m.

Hence, The Sides are 50 and 100 metres respectively.
