The perimeter of a parallelogram is 40 cm and if the shorter side is 8 cm, then the longer side is: /​

hey the answer is . ...

perimeter = 2 × a + 2 × b = 2 ( a + b )

40 = 2 ( 8 + b )

40/2 = 8 + b

20 - 8 = b

b = 12cm



the longest side of the parallelogram is 12cm.
