The perimeter of a parallelogram is 60 cm and the ratio between the adjacent sides is
3:2. If the altitude corresponding to larger side of the parallelogram is 5 cm, find the
area of the parallelogram and the altitude corresponding to the smaller side.​

area is 90cm² and altitude is 7.5cm

60=2(l+b)

60=2(3x+2x)

60=10x

6=x

length=18cm

breadth=12cm

area = length × altitude corresponding to larger side

area=18×5

area=90cm²

since area remains same

therefore

area= breadth× altitude corresponding smaller side

90cm²=12cm×a

a=7.5cm
