Step-by-step explanation:

<font color= red>

Let the adjacent sides of parallelogram be x and y

<font color= blue>

  • 2x+2y=68
  • x+ y=34 ........(1)
  • x/y=7/10

<font color= blue>

x=7y/10=0.7y.......(2)

<font color= red>

substituting 2 in 1

<font color= blue>

we get 0.7y+y=34

  • 1.7y= 3.4
  • y = 2
  • then from equation 1<font color= red>

Putting the value we get;

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the adjacent sides of parallelogram be x and y

2x+2y=68

x+ y=34 ........(1)

x/y=7/10

x=7y/10=0.7y.......(2)

substituting 2 in 1

we get 0.7y+y=34

1.7y=34

y=20

then from 1

x =14

Hope you get the answer
