Answer:

Given:

Perimeter of parallelogram=854 cm

Ratio of length and breath=5:2

Assumption:

Let the length be 5x and breath be 2x

Since,a parallelogram and a rectangle has same formula for perimeter

Formula used:

P=2(l+b)

A=b×h

Solution:

Perimeter=2(l+b)

854=2(5x+2x)

854=2(7x)

854=14x

x=854/14

x=61

Length=61×5

=305 cm

Breath=61×2

=122 cm

Height=1/4 of breath

=1/4 ×122

=30.5cm

Since,height is corresponding to length so base=30.5cm

Now,

Since,

Area=b×h

=305cm×30.5cm

 = 9302.5 {cm}^{2}
