the perimeter of a parallelogram is 854 cm.the ratio of its length to breadth is 5:2 .If the corresponding height to its length is one fourth of the breadth, find the area of the parellelogram.

854= 2(5x+2x)

427= 7x

61= x

length=5x = 305

breadth=2x = 122

height is 1/4 of breadth

i.e h= 122/4

area of //gm = side×crossponding height

= 305×122/4

= 305× 61/2

= 9302.5
