Area of the parallelogram = 240 cm² .

Altitude = 20 cm

Now ,

base × Altitude = 240 cm²

base × 20 = 240

Base = 240/20

Base = 12 cm

Now ,

Given perimeter = 88 cm

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

2(12+b) = 88 cm

12+b = 44 cm

b = 44-12 cm

b = 32 cm

It's required sides are 12 cm and 32 cm

Given,

area of parallelogram=340 cm².
perimeter of parallelogram=88 cm.
altitude I.e., height = 20 cm.

Area = base*height.
240=base*20

Transposing 20 to LHS:

 \frac{240}{20} = base. \\ \frac{24}{2} = base. \\ 12 = base.
Therefore, base = 12 cm.

Perimeter = 2 (base + side) \\ 88 = 2 \times(12 + side) \\ \frac{88}{2} = 12 + side \\ 44 = 12 + side \\ 44 - 12 = side \\ side = 32 \: cm
