QUESTION :

the perimeter of a parallelogram is hundred centimetre if one side is 100 cm longer than the other find the side of the parallelogram please answer it by step by step explanation

ANSWER :

perimeter of a parallelogram=100cm

by given condition

length+100=breadth

now perimeter=2(l+b)

100=2(l+l+100)

2l+100=50

2l=-50

l=-25cm

so

b=100-25

=75cm

as the length in the given question is coming negative

the parallelogram is not possible
