Answer :-

  • Length of Rectangle = 80 cm.

  • Breadth of Rectangle = 40 cm.

Explanation :-

Given :

  • Perimeter of Park = 240 m.

  • Length ot Park is 40 m more than its Breadth.

To Find :

  • Length and Breadth of Rectangle .

Solution :

Let, Breadth be x.

So, Length will be x + 40.

We know that,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l+b).

According to the Question,

⇢ 2(x + 40 + x) = 240 cm.

⇢ 2(2x + 40) = 240 cm.

⇢ 4x + 80 = 240 cm.

⇢ 4x = 240 - 80.

⇢ 4x = 160.

⇢ x = 160 ÷ 4.

⇢ x = 40.

Therefore,

  • Breadth of Park = x = 40 cm.

  • Length of Park = x + 40 = 80 cm.
