The perimeter of a pralllelogram is 70 cm .if one side is 2.5 times the other find the sides of the prallelogram

let first side is x and then second side will (2.5)x

like a rectangle, paralleogram's opposite are equal 

then 

perimeter=2(x+2.5x)

70/2 = 3.5x

35= 3.5x

35/3.5 = x

10=x

then the sides are 10 and (10*2.5) = 25
