length of rectangle = 54cm
TO Find:-
- area of rectangle.
Solution:-
perimeter of square = 4×(side)
= 4×12
= 48cm
according to question,
→3×(perimeter of square) = (perimeter of rectangle)
→3×48 = 2×(l+b)
→144 = 2×(54+b)
→144/2 = 54+b
→72 = 54+b
→b = 72-54
∴ b = 18
now, area of rectangle = l×b
= 54×18
= 972cm
