LET LENGTH BE 5x
BREADTH 3x
perimeter of ractangle = 2 (L+B)
SO : 48= 2 (5x+3x)
48= 2(8x)
48/16= x
3= x
LENGTH = 5x =5×3= 15
BREADTH = 3x=3×3=9

hey frnd....
let the breadth and length be x and y

we know that
perimeter = 2(x+y) = 48m
and given that the ratio between them = 3:5 = 3x:5y
=> x/y = 3:5
now from perimeter
2(x+y) = 48
x + y = 24
x = 24-y
now put this in the ratio given....
=> x/y = 3/5
=> (24-y)/y = 3/5
=> 5(24-y) = 3y
=> 120-5y = 3y
=> 120 = 8y
=> y = 15 m

then x = 24-15 = 9

SO LENGTH = 15 m and BREADTH = 9m

HOPE THIS HELP YOU ☺☺
