Perimeter of a square=4*side
Perimeter of a rectangle=2 (l+b)
According to question,
4*side=2 (l+b)
4*6=2 (4+b)
24=8+2b
2b=24-8
2b=16
b=8.
Therefore,the breadth is 8cm.
