Hey friend, your answer is -
Here , 2 (l+b) = 4×side
2 ( 50 + 34 ) = 4× side
2 × 84 = 4×side
168 = 4× side
Side = 168 / 4
Side = 42 cm

Area of rectangle = l × b
= 50 × 34
= 1700 cm2

Area of square = side^2
= (42)^2
= 1764 cm2

1764 - 1700 = 64

Therefore the Area of square is greaterthan area of rectangle by 64 cm.

Hope it will help you.

perimeter of rectangle- 2(l+b)
2(50+34)-168
p of rectangle is equal to p of square (is given)
so,p of square-1700cm
sides of square- p/4
-168/4
-42

area of square-s*s
-42*42
-1764

area of rectangle is equal to l*b
50*34-1700cm

a of square-a of rectangle
1764-1700
64

so a of square is greater than a of rectangle by 64
