perimeter of the rectangle=perimeter of square
given length of the rectangle is 14cm and breadth of the rectangle is 10cm.
perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)
=2(14+10)
=2×24
=48cm
hence, the perimeter of the rectangle is 48cm.
therefore the perimeter of the square is also 48cm
side×4=48cm
side=48/4
side=12cm
hence, the length of the side of square is 12cm.
