the perimeter of a rectangle and a square drawn a paper are the same. If the dimensions of the rectangle are 10cm and 14cm, find the length of each side of the aquare drawn on the paper.

here's ur answer frnd...

perimeter of the rectangle=perimeter of square

given length of the rectangle is 14cm and breadth of the rectangle is 10cm.

perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

=2(14+10)

=2×24

=48cm

hence, the perimeter of the rectangle is 48cm.

therefore the perimeter of the square is also 48cm

side×4=48cm

side=48/4

side=12cm

hence, the length of the side of square is 12cm.
