Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth )

                                        = 2 x ( 30 + 14 )

                                        = 2 x 44

                                        = 88 cm

In square, perimeter = 4 x side

Here, side = m

4m = 88 cm ( Question says, perimeter for both is the same )

m = 88 / 4 cm

    = 22 cm

Area of square = side x side

= 22 x 22

= 484 cm^2

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

= 30 x 14

= 420 cm^2

420 < 484

Hence, area of square is greater than area of rectangle.

Difference = 484 - 420

                   = 64 cm

area of square is greater than area of rectangle by 64 cm
