Answer:

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

let the breadth be x and length be 2x

2(x+2x)=96

2(3x)= 96

6x=96

x=96/6

x=16

so b=16m &l=32m

Answer:

plss follow me.

Step-by-step explanation:

we have given that ,

perimeter of rectangle = 96

=> 2(l+b) = 96 ----------(1)

let the length of the rectangle be l and breadth be b

According to the Question ,

l= 2b ---------------- (2)

now, putting the value of (2) in equation (1),we get

=> 2(2b +b) = 96

= 3b = 96/2

= 3b= 48

= b = 16

from (2) , we get

l= 2b

=> l = 2×16

=> l = 32

therefore , length of the rectangle is 32m and the breadth of the rectangle is 16.
