b:l = 2:3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

perimeter of a rectangle is 120m

it's length , l = 36m

To find The ratio of the width of the rectangle to its length.

Now,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

120 = 2(36 + b)

 \frac{120}{2}  = (36 + b)

60 = 36 + b

b  = 60 - 36 = 24m

Now,

b:l = 24:36

b:l = 2:3
