the perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+b)
or 130=2(l+30)
or l+30=65
then, l=35 cm

therefore, area of rectangle=l×b
=35×30
=1050 cm^2 answer

Heya friend,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

Let the length of a rectangle be x cm. Then,

according to question,

130 = 2(x+30)

130 = 2x+ 60

130 - 60 = 2x

70 = 2x

x = 70/2

x = 35

Length of a rectangle is 35 cm

Area of a rectangle = l × b

= (35×30) cm^2

= 1,050 cm^2

Thanks

Hope it helps you.
