Solution:-

Given:-

Perimeter of the rectangle = 130 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 30 cm

To Find:-

Area of the rectangle.

Formula:-

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 × (length+ breadth).

Area of the rectangle = length× breadth.

By the Problem:-

Perimeter \:   = \:  2  \: ×  \: (length+ breadth) \\ 130 \: = \:  2  \: ×  \: (length+ 30) \\ 130 = 2 \times length + 60 \\ 2 \times length = 130 - 60 \\ 2 \times length = 70 \\ length =  \frac{70}{2}  \\ length = 35 \: cm

Area \:    = \:  length \: × \:  breadth \\ Area = 30 \times 35 \\ Area = 1050 \:  {cm}^{2}

This can help you.

Perimeter=2(l+b)
130=2(l+30)
L=35

Area=L X B
1050cm^2
