Perimeter = 130cm

Breadth = 30cm

So, 2(l+b) = 130

2(l+30) = 130

2l = 130-60

2l = 70

l = 35

Length = 35cm

Area = l×b

= 35×30

=1050 cm²

Given:

Perimeter of the rectangle = 130 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 30

Formula:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

130 = 2 (length + 30)

130/2 = length + 30

Length + 30 = 65

Length = 65 – 30

Length = 35 cm

Then:

Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 35 × 30

= 1050 cm²

Therefore:

Area of the rectangle = 1050 cm² Ans
