Perimeter of rectangle=130cm

⇒2(length+breadth)=130cm

⇒2(length+30)=130

⇒ length+30=2130

⇒ length+30=65

⇒ length=65−30=35cm

Now area of rectangle=length×breadth=35×30=1050cm2

Thus, the area of rectangle is 1050cm2.

Given:-

Perimeter of Rectangle = 130 cm

Breadth of rectangular = 30 cm

To Find:-

Length of the rectangle

Area of a rectangle

Solution:-

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 130 = 2(l+30)

=> 130/2 = l + 30

=> 65 - 30 = l

=> l = 35 cm

Area of rectangle = l × b

= 35 × 30

= 1050 cm²
