Answer:

Length= 35; Area=

1050 {cm}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that Perimeter is the sum of all sides.

To find the perimeter of a rectangle, we add all the sides, which is

l + l +b  + b

Here, only the breadth is known, so twice the breadth or, breadth plus breadth is equal to, 30cm + 30cm= 60cm.

Hence, we can derive that twice the length= 130cm - 60cm= 70cm.

Therefore, length= 70/2= 35cm.

Hence AREA=

l \times b = 35cm \times 30cm = 1050cm ^{2}

Given :-

  • Perimeter = 130cm
  • Breadth = 30cm

To Find :-

  • Lenght and area of rectangle.

Solution :-

We know that ,

╔═══════════════╗

✪Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)✪

╚═══════════════╝

Given that breadth of the reactangle = 30cm

Given that perimeter of reactangle = 130cm

2 (l + b) = 130

2(l + 30) = 130

2l + 60 = 130

2l = 130 - 60

2l = 70

l = 70/2

l = 35

l = 35cm

Area of a rectangle = L × B

= 35 × 30

= 1050cm²

Answer :-

Hence,

Length = 30 and Area = 1050cm²
