Length of rectangle = 14/3 m

Let breadth of rectangle be X m

Given that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 218/15 m

2 ( L + B ) = 218/15

2 ( 14/3 + X ) = 218/15

14/3 + X = 218/15 × 2

14 + 3X/3 = 109/15

15 ( 14 + 3X) = 109 × 3

210 + 45X = 327

45X = 327 - 210

45X = 117

X = 117/45 = 39/15 = 13/5

Hence,

Breadth of rectangle = X = 13/5

then find area

answer:-

breadth =3 2/15 cm

area =14 28/45 cm²
