The perimeter of a rectangle is 14 cm and that of another rectangle , whose length is twice the first rectangles length and breadth is same as the first rectangles breadth is 22 cm. Then find the length and the breadth of the rectangle​

let l is length and b is breadth.

perimeter of 1st rectangle=2(l+b)=14 – eqn 1

given about 2nd rectangle–

length=2l ,breadth= b

perimeter of 2nd rectangle=2(2l+b)=22– eqn 2

by solving eqn 1 and 2 ,we get–

length= 4

breadth=3
