let length be x and breadth be y. Perimeter of rectangle =2(length +breadth)=2(x+y)=15.8.
=>x+y=7.9.
Area of rectangle=13.5 =xy.=>y=13.5/x.
=>x+13.5/x=7.9
=>x^2+13.5-7.9x=0
=>x=2.5 and 5.4
Length =5.4cm and Breadth=2.5cm.
