so given perimeter =17

and width =33/4

length=?

To fing lenght apply in perimeter formula;

2(l+b)=17

2(l+33/4)=17

2l+33/2=17

2l=17-33/2

2l=34-33/2

2l=1/2

l=1/4 cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 17 cm = 2(l+b)

breadth or width (b) = 33/4 cm (given)

sub. this in Perimeter formula.

=> 2(l+33/4) = 17

=> l+33/4 = 17/2

=> l = 17/2 - 33/4

=> l = (34-33)/4

=> l = 1/4

Therefore length(l) = 0.25 cm
