Answer:

Breadth of the rectangle is 40 cm

Area of the rectangle is 1800 cm²

Given data :

Perimeter = 170 cm

Length = 45 cm

Let,the breadh = x cm

So,

2×(x+45) = 170

2x + 90 = 170

2x = 80

x = 40

Length=45cm

Let breadth be 'b'

Perimeter= 2(length + breadth)

=> 170=2(45+b)
