Answer: Length is 8 m

Breadth is 5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let length be (3+b)m

And breadth BE (b) m.

Given,perimeter is 26 m.

A/a

PERIMETER = 2l + 2b

26= 2(3+2b)+2(b)

26= 6+2b+2b

26=6+4b

26-6=4b

b=20/4

b=5

•°• length = 5+x=5+3=8m

And breadth=5m

When positive is moved to the other side it becomes negative due to L.H.S = R.H.S

(+ changes to -) (- changes to +) (* changes to /) (/ changes to *)

Hope this helps
