Given :-

  • Perimeter Of Rectangle = 20 cm.

  • Length Of Rectangle = 6 cm.

To Find :-

  • Area Of Rectangle.

Solution :-

Perimeter = 2(L + B).

Now, Length and Perimeter are already given. So,

⇒ 60 = 2(6 + B).

⇒ 60 = 12 + 2B.

⇒ 60 – 12 = 2B.

⇒ 2B = 48.

⇒ B = 48/2.

B = 24cm.

Now, Verification Of Breadth :-

⇒ 60 = 2(6 + 24).

⇒ 60 = 2(30).

⇒ 60 = 60.

LHS = RHS.

Hence, Verified.

Now,

Area Of Rectangle = L × B.

⇒ Area = 6 × 24 cm²

⇒ Area = 144 cm²

Therefore, Area Of Rectangle = 144 cm².
