The perimeter of a rectangle is 20 cm. If the rectangle has whole number side lengths, what is the greatest area that the rectangle can have?

A square has the greatest area for a given perimeter. has the greatest area of (5^2) = 25cm^2. When the area is maximum the rectangle will be a square . Hence 2(2a)=20 hence the length and breadth will be equal to 5 cm
