Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+w)

                             200=2(x+10+x)

                              200=2x+20+2x

                              200=4x+20

                               200-20=4x

                                 180= 4x

                                Divide both sides by 4x

                                  x=45

         length= x+10

                    = 45+10

                     =55cm

x, which is 45 is the breadth

Answer:

length = 55 cm, breadth = 45 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm.

Given, length = x + 10 cm.

Perimeter = 2(l + b) = 2(x+10 + x) = 4x + 20 = 200.

Therefore, 4x = 180.

So, x = 45 cm.

Thus, the length and breadth of the rectangle are 55 and 45 cm respectively.

Hope this helps you!
