given :-

Perimeter = 210 metres

Lenght = 15 metres more than double the width

to find :-

length and width

solution :-

Let,

width be 'b'

and

length be 'L'

also,

Length = 15 + 2b ......(given)

perimeter = 2(L + b)

2(L + b) = 210

2( 15 + 2b + b ) = 210

2( 15 + 3b ) = 210

30 + 6b = 210

6b = 210 - 30

6b = 180

b = 180/6

b = 30

substituting the value of 'b' to find length and width,

width = 'b' = 30metres

length = 15 + 2b

= 15 + 2(30)

= 15 + 60

= 75 metres.

Answer: length=75 metres

Breadth=30

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter=210m

Length=15+2b

Breadth=b

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

210=2(15+2b+b)

210=2(15+3b)

210=30+6b

210-30=6b

180=6b

b=30

l=15+2*30

l=15+60

l=75
