Step-by-step explanation:

For a Rectangle ,

Perimeter = 2 × ( length+breadth)

230 = 2 × ( 70 + breadth )

115 = 70 + breadth

breadth = 115-70 = 45 cm

Area of Rectangle = length × breadth

= 70 × 45 = 3150 cm²

Hey..! Here is your answer ,

  • Perimeter of a rectangle = 230 cm
  • length of a rectangle = 70 cm
  • Breadth = ?????

  • Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

  • 230 = 140 + 2b
  • 2b = 230 - 140
  • 2b = 90
  • b = 90

2

  • Breadth = 45

  • Area of a rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 70 × 45

= 3150 cm²
