The perimeter of a rectangle is 240 m. If its length is decreased by 10% and breadth is increased by 20%
we get the same perimeter. Find the length and the breadth of the rectangle​

and, Breadth= 40 m

2*(L+B) = 240 => L+B = 120

And,

2*(0.9L + 1.2B) = 240

or 1.80L + 2.40B = 240

or 3L + 4B = 400

or 3(120- B) + 4B = 400

or 360- 3B + 4B = 400

or. B = 40 m

and L = 80 m
